System Administrator/Desktop Support
Location: Pacific Region/South-Central Region/Western Southeren Region Cherry Point, Craven, NC Norfolk, VA Little Creek AMP Base, VA Naval Base, Norfolk, VA Williamsburg, VA Richmond, VA Barstow, San Bernardino, CA San Diego, CA Tracy, San Joaquin, CA Positions: Multiple Length: Long term Job Type: Contract/Contract to Hire Minimum Qualifications/Expertise:
General Experience: Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the Performance Work Statement. At least one project shall have occurred within the past three (3) years. Functional Responsibility: Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinate with the Contractor's project manager, COTRs, and Government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Security/Certification Requirements: Sensitivity Level: IT-II – Non-critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT-II Baseline Certification: Security+ and Computing Environment: At a minimum, must have current certifications in Windows 7 (or higher) in accordance with DoD 8570. 1.Information Assurance Support : General Experience: The Contractor requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the Performance Work Statement. At least one project shall have occurred within the past three (3) years. Functional Responsibility: Responsible for applying Information Assurance expertise and knowledge to network and enterprise security while implementing “best practices” security methodologies. Experienced in managing all major areas of information assurance to include assessment, protection, validation, monitoring, and incident handling. Functional expertise in two or more information assurance technologies or capabilities such as Vulnerability/Threat Assessments, Network Intrusion Detection, Secure Operations, Firewall Design & Deployment, Public Key Encryption, Virtual Private Networks, etc. Interface with all necessary levels of management and staff regarding Information Assurance services. Developing and enforcing enterprise security policies and procedures, while maintaining certification and accreditation documentation, providing education and awareness training, handling security incidents, performing network scans, and ensuring software patch compliancy. Responsible for performing duties as an alternate COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO). Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinate with the COR/COTR representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Security/Certification Requirements: Sensitivity Level: IT-I –Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT-I; This contract requires all contract employees to possess and maintain a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Secret clearance Baseline Certification: One of the following: CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP, CASP, or Security+ 2.Enterprise System Administrator: General Experience: The Contractor requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the Performance Work Statement. At least one project shall have occurred within the past three (3) years. Functional Responsibility: Implements and maintains computer software for moderately complex to highly complex computer systems. Translate detailed software installation, preparing detailed plans, and testing for implementing into systems. Coordinate all project analysis and requirement efforts. Responsible for both routine and complex testing and analysis of all elements of the system administration; including power, software, communications machinery/devices, lines, and terminals. Monitors and controls the performance and status of the system resources. Utilizes software and hardware tools, identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting system performance. Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinate with the Contractor's project manager, COTRs, and Government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Security/Certification Requirements: Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT-I; This contract requires all contract employees to possess and maintain a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Secret clearance Baseline Certification: CISSP; Computing Environment: MCITP/MCSA (2008 or higher). 3.Network Administrator : General Experience: The Contractor requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the Performance Work Statement. At least one project shall have occurred within the past three (3) years. Functional Responsibility: Analyze customer requirement to ensure better contribution to development of networking tools. Maintain all telecommunication tools and accessories such as servers and switches. Install, configure and provide support to all networking accessories in different workstations. Identify and resolve all hardware related problem for better performance and detect issues for networking strategies. Monitor systems to oversee firewall and other network related improvement processes. Ensure networking stability and monitor all work regularly. Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinate with the Contractor's project manager, COTRs, and Government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
