SharePoint Architect

Responsibilities: 
  • Deployment, optimization and maintenance of enterprise Microsoft SharePoint services (ASP, Microsoft.Net, SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013).
  •  Perform studies of system flows, data usage and work processes to improve overall system performance; include recommendations in the monthly progress and weekly status reports.
  • Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, see section 16.4 Data Rights
  • Implement SharePoint-based workflows as well as develop Business Intelligent dashboards.
  • Build SharePoint applications using SharePoint Client Object Model (CSOM), JavaScript, JQuery, SharePoint Designer (2010/2013) Workflows, Extended Markup Language (XML),  Representational State Transfer (REST) and any other client side SharePoint methodologies
  • Configure, deploy, optimize, and maintain enterprise infrastructure such as:
           Server (physical / virtual)
           Operating Systems
           Microsoft Internet Informational Services (MS IIS)/Web Servers
           Databases
           Flowcharts
           Code comments and clear code
  • Plan and implement a robust data management program which supports client's Enterprise architectures and conforms to federal enterprise architecture.
  • Maintain software configuration and documentation on all custom SharePoint/.Net applications
  • Manage and actively work the operational ticket queue for enterprise SharePoint-related problems.
  •  Provide server infrastructure status reports to management on a weekly basis
  •  Redesign activities that modify functionality and/or produce technical improvements to enhance Intranet software and security
  •  Track and report change requests through the Client's Change Management process  
  •  Provide problem analysis and resolution
  •  Provide technical assistance to the end users
  • Perform system and software conversion activities that include the transition of existing Intranet applications
Qualifications: 
  • Professional Certifications (Microsoft Certified System Developer (MCSD): SharePoint Applications) with at least 5 years of experience​
  • Experience with object-oriented design using .NET systems in conjunction with databases is a plus.
  • Must have experience working on large, complex projects with tight deadlines. 
  • Must be a quick learner and self-sufficient.  
  • Must be willing to travel as needed for business.  
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to interact with business users and technical team members.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
