Senior Front End Engineer
Location:San Francisco , CA
Job Type: Contract to Hire
The candidate who joins our client will be joining a dedicated, diverse highly-collaborative project based teams of engineers who greatly value building web applications with stellar user experience. Our growing company has well-known global enterprise customers and for the right fit there will be a lot of autonomy. There is passion needed for direction of the product to deliver.
 
In terms of their tech, front end applications will be built using React, Flow, Express, Redux, There will be project-based teams established that will collaborate with the back end engineers who use Node.js, Lambda, and DynamoDB. There also will be interaction with designers, product managers, and other teams. Design tools like Zeplin and InVision will also be used. The candidate will also plan, iterate, and architect on features in practice of good engineering practices.
 
Requirements:
  • Five or more years of experience building web applications using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
  • Fluency with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Professional use of JavaScript build tools and test frameworks. We use Babel, Flow, Jest, and Webpack
  • An understanding of design principles that lead to scalable and maintainable web application architectures
  • Our team values working well with other people. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate well with our product, design and other engineering teams
