SENCHA/Java Developer

Job Type: Contract or Contract to Hire
This is a Trade flows Automation project. The effort planned is to build portfolio management (PM) capabilities for Alternatives portfolio manager. Capabilities includes automating flows management, cash deployment, cloning/re balancing, trade modeling, targeting and PM to trader trade communication process.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the front-end technical design and development
  • Write robust front-end code using Sencha (extJS) frameworks and libraries
  • Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, including graphs, charts, and other dynamic features
  • Collaborate with business analysts and back-end developers to define functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts to meet the user requirements
  • Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience building web application interfaces
  • Deep expertise in Sencha, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript frameworks and libraries
  • Deep expertise designing and developing rich, interactive data visualizations
  • Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS-based design
  • Experience with data visualization tools (D3, HiCharts)
  • Understanding of application server and database development, including basic data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Problem solver and technology enthusiast
  • Creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness
Mandatory skills:
  • 3+ years of SENCHA
  • 3+ years of JAVASCRIPT
  • 6+ years of JAVA
