Venkat Maddikayala, PMP, CSM
President of V3Main Technologies An Indian-born family man, world traveler, ToastMasters member and speaker of four languages, Venkat “The IT Cat” Maddikayala is a project management powerhouse, technical mastermind and web architecture specialist who has dominated IT across multiple major markets and industries. Throughout his impressive career in IT and project management, Maddikayala has grown his portfolio, skill set and understanding into an arsenal of tools, tips and information that solve complex business problems. Additionally, Venkat uses a sought-after style that combines versatile IT expertise and intelligent, emotive interpersonal communication.
Maddikayala began his foray into the IT world in 1996, attaining a Master’s Degree in computer science from Osmania University in India before leaping immediately into professional IT problem solving as a software engineer for Fujitsu. There he excelled immediately, executing sophisticated, high level implementation, testing and development to ensure that all products met the highest technical standards. After overseeing full lifecycle development of applications and creating a framework of clean, effective software for the company, Maddikayala moved to the United States to submerge himself even further in the software business. “The IT Cat” joined Case Consulting in 1998, working fervently and successfully to upgrade the company’s software quality, development and service, preparing high level guidelines and meeting them with flawless, detail-oriented business operations. Having officially entered American business, Maddikayala assisted a series of companies looking for powerful software upgrades. At RCG IT in Philadelphia, Venkat planned and built an Accounting Management Information System that seamlessly allowed for the retail chain to track its inventory and bottom line. In 1999, Maddikayala consulted in the financial services sector for Bowne Digital Services, building a new interface for the company’s 401(k) tracking and information that featured enhanced messaging, editing, review and descriptions. The new digital database allowed for simpler implementation of investment strategies, assisting the firm in accomplishing striking success in the financial district. After successfully building and adjusting database management for Vertek Corporation, a major player in the telecomm industry, Venkat signed on with one of the most successful companies in the world: JP Morgan-Chase (JPM). Boasting a Dow Jones listing and a $145 billion dollar market cap, JPM hires only the best business-minded professionals and specialists in every field. “The IT Cat” rose cleverly to the occasion, starting on a short contract as a Senior Program Analyst and earning a promotion to Lead Developer and Project Manager. During his time at JP Morgan, Venkat increased the capacity for profit for the company every single year, improving syndication for six years running and positioning JPM as #1 in syndicated loans. Venkat also created currency fluidity in the system that saved the organization more than $1 million dollars a year. By the time he had finished his time with the company, Venkat made a deep imprint on the IT architecture and system. The entire network he built provided a simple, fast, facilitation of funds transferring, an invaluable resource to a major Fortune 500 financial institution. The success of the project could be measured in efficiency, security and return on investment. He even left a team of trained professionals behind to operate the system in his absence. During his time at JP Morgan, Venkat also performed customer service duty during two major events: the tragic 9/11 attack, during which he was in New York, and Hurricane Rita, which hit during his time working in the JP Morgan Chase branch in Houston. These events highly impacted Venkat, reminding him to provide people with the necessary empathy to go about their lives, and be grateful for every moment. Venkat then moved on to boost yet another company in Logica, a $1.4 billion IT business machine. As an IT Project Manager and Application Integration Specialist, Venkat performed as effectively as he ever had, but in a broader range of fields. Venkat assisted the company as it shortened its name from Logica CMG to Logica, serving as a key cog in the effort to rebrand the organization. His website redesign resulted in a 200% increase in sales leads and site visitations. His new HR and BI systems save the company $250K annually. Security, HR and Customer service became more effective than ever before, dramatically decreasing the company’s costs. Having conquered the IT process of the general private sector, Maddikayala started V3Main Technologies, a company brand under which he has thrived since the organization began. Leader of V3Main Technologies, Venkat serves his clients with incredible speed and customer care, constructing complex application, software and social media networks. Venkat’s methods get results. If your company is looking for someone quick, inquisitive and effective at solving IT solutions of any shape, size or other characteristic variety, contact Venkat “The IT Cat” Maddikayala for a free business analysis.
