Tittle: SAP Business Subject Matter Specialist

Job Description:
 ​The contractor must be able to analyze our processes, collaborate with agency leads on SAP Integration, provide SAP application Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI) end-user support, comply with industry regulations, and ensure we have a smooth system integration configuration, support enhanced functionalities and provide support on how to integrate SAP to enhance our targeted business processes.​

The Consultant shall provide support for the complete conversion of the existing FMMI System to SAP S/4 HANA.
  •  Assist FMS staff with conversion of data, processes, and interfaces.
  • Provide financial training to FMMI users including entering documents, approving documents, viewing documents, and executing reports.
  • Develop and/or update documentation and procedures.
  • Developing test scenarios, coordinating, and performing testing, and providing post implementation production support testing.
  • Assist with change management process.
  • Work with FS interface staffs to identify potential issues related to the conversion and assist with developing solutions.
  •  Attend and participate in Departmental and FS agency conversion meetings as needed.
The Consultant shall provide FMMI Interface Support which includes but is not limited to: 
  • Assisting the Forest Service with interface changes related to the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana
  • Assisting the Forest Service with interface changes related to the implementation of Treasury’s G-Invoicing Application
  • Assisting the Forest Service with interface changes related to the implementation of a new Utility Payment Application.
  • Assisting the Forest Service with the Application Programing Interface (API) development support between FMMI, Tableau and/or any other Reporting Dashboard applications.​
  • Assisting the Forest Service with updating functional and technical designs for all FMMI Interfaces based on change requests or enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing expertise and training related to federal financial management and Forest Service specific business processes
  • Assisting the Forest Service in user acceptance testing of all system change requests as well as changes to improve business processes.
  • Assists the agency with developing detailed test plans based on agency business processes, execution of test scenarios, and documentation of testing results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of SAP(FMMI) end user support, and minimum of 3 years working in an agile software development environment.
  • A minimum of 10 years SAP consulting experience with at least 8 years in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting
  • 10 + years of hands-on experience implementing S/4HANA projects
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI), Management Accounting (CO), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM)
  • Expert understanding on integration of the various components within the Financial Accounting (FI) module such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), New Asset Accounting (FI-AA New), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury Management (TRM), as well as their integration with other SAP Modules
  • Deep understanding on the integration of the components within the Management Accounting (CO) module such as Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Order Related Accounting (OPA), Account Based Profitability Analysis (ABCOPA), Project Systems (PS), Product Costing, and Material Ledger, as well as their integration with other SAP Modules.
  • Expert knowledge on Advanced Credit Management, Collections and Disputes Management, and Cash Management
  • Working knowledge of ABAP debugging skills is desired
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate complex and interactive solutioning workshops
  • Leadership skills; lead customer engagements relating to Financial and Management Accounting
  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting and Treasury is desired
  • Deep understanding of Agile concept of Project Delivery
  • SAP Activate Project Management methodology is desired
