Financial Software Developer​
Location: Dallas, TX

Job Description:
The Software Developer will create web applications, and automation processes for accounting and trading. This individual will help with implementing GUI for an internally developed general-ledger system. He or she will work closely with other team members and business users to gather requirements, propose and implement solutions. He will have opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions for business users while supporting firm-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop web applications for accounting and trading utilizing API services
  • Create reports to be deployed and distributed through the corporate intranet as well as through Excel
  • Implement testing automation for UI and API services internally developed by the team.

  • Able to handle multiple projects
  • Works well under pressure, well organized, mentally tough
  • Solid communication and verbal skills
  • Ability to sustain high energy in a dynamic, fast-paced, pressure-filled environment
  • Strong work ethic, including willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done
  • Detail oriented; Follows through and completes tasks
  • Open and accessible
  • Comfortable working with non-technical users
Technical Skills:
  • Required:  C#, JavaScript, SQL server/Sybase, Excel VBA, Angular or ReactJS, ASP.Net, MVC
  • Pluses: Experience with AWS or Azure, Testing automation frameworks,Bloomberg, C++, Matlab or other statistical package experience​
