Title: Project Manager
Hiring Manager: PMO Manager

 Responsibilities:
This position oversees all aspects of projects and is responsible for their coordination and completion on time and within budge
  •  Direct and manage software project development from initiating through closing
  •  Define project scope, goals, objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated documents
  • Gather, analyze and manage software requirements ensuring they align with stated project goals and objectives
  • Effectively communicate project statuses to team members, stakeholders, executives and sponsor in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Liaise with various review boards as needed
  • Communicate with developers and users
  • Gather, document, set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve approved project objectives
  • Manage scope, schedule and budget and recommend changes when necessary
  • Negotiate with managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the   company
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan, schedule and monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Identify and manage project risks by developing mitigation and/or contingency plans
  • Identify and manage project success criteria and measures of success
  • Manage project accounting on a weekly basis including team hours and expenses,  budget, and invoices
  • Conduct project post reviews, measure projections to actuals, and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Ensure successful transition of project results to ongoing operations organization
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):
1.      PMP or other project management certification
2.      Experience working with oilfield personnel
3.      Experience working in the oil and gas services industry
Travel Requirements: 50%
