Sitecore Developer/Architect

Duties & Responsibilities: 
The Web Application Developer needs to be able to learn, construct and implement stable, re-usable and industry leading solutions and frameworks. This person will support existing infrastructure as well as develop new applications.
  • Develops new Web applications utilizing existing, packaged or customized applications. 
  • Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. 
  • Creates development plans and structure for iPad and other mobile device applications. 
  • Ensures applications meet requirements and desired quality and signs off on all technical aspects of work. 
  • Performs complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary. 
  • Works closely with internal and vendor partner technical teams. 
  • Designs and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use. 
  • Must be service oriented and help our internal customer needs. 
  • Must be proactive and reach out to team members and other employees regularly 
  • Must be able to work in a very fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications: 
  • 8-10 years of Offshore: IT Experience 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sitecore development
  • Experience working on Sitecore 7.x or higher Solr Search engine .Net framework MVC 4.0, 5.0 Entity framework Excellent understanding ofSitecore platform (CMS and Digital Marketing System) and the ability to identify and evaluate requirements Understands the CMS concepts like page/data template, content types, workflows, content authoring and approval process.
  • Good experience in Sitecore architecture creation, utilize deep understanding of Sitecore solutions to make appropriate decisions
  • Good experience in Sitecore API customization, Workflow and Migration Good knowledge on Sitecore Email Campaign Module
  • Experience in Sitecore administration along with knowledge on deployment / backup plans in Sitecore
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong knowledge of the version control systems
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English Knowledge and adherence to the Agile/Scrum work principles
  • Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 including: designing database schemas, building and deploying databases, writing complex stored procedures and procedures, queries and views
