Enterprise Architect Lead/Analyst Positions

Responsibilities:

EA Certification required (Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification (FEAC), TheOpen Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other industry accepted EA certification)
7 years of demonstrated experience in delivering business value from an operational and actionable enterprise architecture programs and activities. Business value is defined as including performance improvement, reuse and cost efficiency
Demonstrated experience planning and prioritizing and implementing tasks for the EA
Programs and supporting other aspects of EA Program Management
Demonstrated experience maturing EA Programs
Experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) framework, GAO EA Maturity Model, OMB EA compliance requirements and Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSAM)
Experience supporting different phases of the Architect-Invest-Implement performance improvement lifecycle, including understanding of the EA's role in the Investment and Implementation phases
Strong Project management skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the solution development lifecycle and IT system development
Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
EA Repository experience with an industry leading EA

1) Enterprise Consultant Analyst

10 years of demonstrated knowledge with FEA framework, Collaborative Planning Methodology, solid understanding of the Reference models and how they are used
Demonstrated knowledge providing enterprise architecture expertise and performing EA for agencies
Has 7 years of technical background in software architecture, design and development, system integration, large system lifecycle stages and their cost sources, security and network concepts. Current in a wide range of technology areas: from software development patterns and best practices to application servers, web and Extensible Markup Language (XML) technologies, data architecture, networking protocols and concepts, virtualization, cloud computing.
Experience conducting successful segment architecture and other types of architectural analysis Demonstrated knowledge and experience with FEA framework, Collaborative Planning methodology, solid understanding of the FEA Reference models and how they are used
EA Repository experience with an industry leading EA tool
Demonstrated knowledge of the solution development lifecycle and IT system development
Ability to facilitate workshops, elicit requirements and present meetings

2. Junior Enterprise Consultant

Possesses 3 years of experience supporting enterprise architecture or similar projects.
Possess strong analytical skills to assist in designing or implementing business solutions.
Demonstrated ability to provide the following:
Document an organization's current architecture
Identify and document requirements for architectural analysis task orders
Develop project documentation and user training materials according to client
requirements
Conduct training sessions, facilitate workshops
Prepare communications materials
Perform program management support tasks, such as status reporting and work
plan maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of the solution development lifecycle and IT system development

3. Business Analyst

Possesses 5 years of experience working in enterprise architecture program areas.
Demonstrated ability to provide the following:
Conduct business analysis activities including leading requirements gathering,
documenting, and analysis activities for all new projects. Convert business requirements into system, software, and functional requirements. Based on the baseline requirements, conduct systems analysis to assist in converting requirements into system and software designs.
Applies strong analytical and communication skills to support enterprise
architecture and IT governance teams. Business Analyst is qualified to perform such tasks as:
 Provide detailed analysis of business or mission areas
 Assist in creation of target strategic and operational vision
 Create models of business and technology scenarios and assist in interpreting results
 Use structured problem solving frameworks to define, analyze and develop alternative solutions to business problems
 Perform economic analyses to assess the impact of reorganization\ initiatives
 Facilitate meeting, workshops
 Develop and deliver presentations.
 Demonstrated knowledge of the solution development lifecycle and IT system development

4. Data Architect Lead

 Possesses 7 years of experience conducting Data Architecture, Data Modeling, such as enterprise data model, conceptual data model, Logical data model and physical data model and its related subjects
 Demonstrated ability to provide the following:
Work with end users to gain an understanding of the information and core data concepts behind their Business. closely with end users, Business Analysts, and the Development Team to develop data models.
Define Data and System Requirements based on Business Process and/or Business Requirements Analysis.
Responsible for the design and development of transactional database models for custom application development.
Responsible for the design and development of database models for the operational data store, data warehouse, and federated databases to support
Company's Enterprise Information Management Strategy.
o Work closely with Data Integration developer to define XML schema definitions.
o Provide database implementation and database administrative support for custom
application development efforts.
o Perform operational data management for existing applications.
o Assist in the definition of Enterprise Data Standards

5. Senior Infrastructure SME

Demonstrated 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to provide the following:
Lead all phases of enterprise architecture development and implementation.
Lead opportunity assessments and proofs-of-concept to assess the value of merging technologies.
Collaborate with IT leadership on the development of the IT strategic plan.
Develop high level financial and business case models to assess technologies and assist in prioritization of the IT portfolio.
Develop strategies, road maps and business systems architectures for IT and the business.
Develop technical and modeling standards across IT and the business.
Provide functional expertise on projects coordinating and facilitating requirements gathering.

6. Infrastructure SME

 Demonstrated ability to provide the following:

Assist all phases of enterprise architecture development and implementation.
Assist opportunity assessments and proofs-of-concept to assess the value of merging technologies.
Collaborate with IT leadership on the development of the IT strategic plan.
Assist in developing high level financial and business case models to assess technologies and assist in prioritization of the IT portfolio.
Assist in developing strategies, road maps and business systems architectures for IT and the business.
Assist in developing technical and modeling standards across IT and the business.
Assist in providing functional expertise on projects coordinating and facilitating
requirements gathering.
Responsibility to design an entire system configuration including hardware, software, and communications.

7. Security SME

 Demonstrated 7 years of experience in cybersecurity and its related area.
 Experience exhibiting direct responsibility for information security architecture, design,

development, implementation, and administration in private or government sectors

 Demonstrated ability to provide the following:

Consult business sponsors, IT peers, and Information Security management to assure application of security principles and mitigation of risk associated with new and existing technologies operating platforms and application systems.
Design, develop, and implement security architectures that meet business requirements balancing security, cost, and user experience.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate action.
Assist in implementation and review of information security program strategy,
policy, and processes and technologies
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information
Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent Information Security Certification required.
Advanced expertise in three or more of the following and working knowledge of at least six areas:
Risk Management
Access control systems and methodology
Identity management and authentication systems
Directory services design
Application security and systems development life cycle
Encryption technologies
Data and systems integrity controls
Network and Internet Security
Audit and event management
Business continuity, availability and disaster recovery Operational security controls
Vulnerability Analysis
Secure coding practices/Code review
Experience with security analysis tools and techniques (commercial and/or opensource)
Technical experience in design and troubleshooting Internet services including, but not limited to, Domain Name System (DNS), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol\ (HTTP) and Web services, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office Protocol (POP) protocols
Demonstrated Technical Knowledge in the following:
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Communications, Networking, DNS
Microsoft Windows-Server & Desktop
Linux/UNIX
Design, analysis, construction, and problem-solving
Business Continuity planning
Oracle or other Structured Query Language (SQL) database
