Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruitment and a keen eye for identifying top talent. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in talent acquisition and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and recruitment materials.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities to promote the company and attract talent.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous internship or work experience in recruitment or human resources is a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media recruiting and employer branding strategies.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
